Entrepreneurship Launch Pad with Coding Integration

Our 16-week Entrepreneurship Launch-Pad operates in supplement to a workforce readiness or academic program (incl. secondary school, apprenticeship programming, or re-entry programming). Scholars will learn how to build web and mobile applications and through experiential learning, class projects, and creative gamification. The objective of this course is to assist scholars with building a healthy life and to prepare for the tech workforce. Scholars will also gain access to a wide network of mentors and collaborators that will assist in developing a start-up idea. The class is run in an incubator-style atmosphere and scholars will graduate at the end of the program with family members and faculty congratulating them.

Our 3-week Course operates in supplement to a vocational or academic program (incl. high school, apprenticeship programming, or re-entry programming). Each scholar will learn the principles, buzz words, and introductory skill sets of launching a business. The class is run in an incubator-style atmosphere and scholars will graduate at the end of the program with family members and faculty congratulating them.

Concepts of Business

The Concepts of Business course drills down into a week-long energized mini-camp. Some of our scholars want to know if being an entrepreneur is for them, and the best way to tell is to have some fun while learning about business. Each scholar will be introduced to business vocabulary, success traits, the behavior of entrepreneurs, and business/workplace infrastructure. The class is run in an incubator-style atmosphere and scholars will receive a Certificate of Completion on the final day of class.

Launching Your Idea/Brand

The Launching Your Idea/Brand course starts you off on your journey as an entrepreneur. You've graduated from the Introduction to Entrepreneurship course and you are really excited about launching your business. The FSB "Launch Tool Kit" is packed with resources and the classroom is filled others who want to succeed just as bad. The classes are smaller, which also give the ability for focused attention to each scholar's business. The final day of class concludes with final launch deck and formation plan for each scholar's business.
